Test results on the MLHS Placement Exam are used to help determine the potential for students to successfully handle the academic requirements of MLHS and to properly place students into a planned course of study. The exam will also determine those students who are eligible to take placement exams for accelerated course placement. Academic Scholarships are offered annually to the top scorers on the Placement Exam.
When is the test offered?
Late applying students will be notified if a make-up exam will be scheduled, but must submit all application materials to be notified of any future exam offerings.

Who is required to take the test?
All incoming ninth grade students.
Will the test be offered in the Spring?
Testing may be offered on dates that are yet to be determined. Late applying students must submit all application materials and if accepted, must take the exam in order to confirm their placment into courses.
