The admission process is established to determine whether enrollment at Milwaukee Lutheran is a good fit for the student and for the school. Milwaukee Lutheran accepts and reviews applications from any students who have met the school’s criteria for enrollment. If circumstances exist that would significantly prevent the student from being successful at Milwaukee Lutheran, admission may be denied. All applications are processed using TADS



The application process begins September 25, 2018. The Priority Application Period runs from September 25th to December 11th. All applications submitted after December 12th will be reviewed on a space-availability basis. 

Students must complete an ONLINE APPLICATION along with a teacher recommendation form. Students who have an IEP or 504 Plan must submit copies along with their application.
If records are falsified or information is withheld, a student’s acceptance will be impacted and the student will be asked to withdraw. 
Placement Exam
All applicants are required to complete the MLHS Placement Exam. This exam is used to help determine the potential for students to successfully handle the academic requirements of Milwaukee Lutheran and to properly place students into a planned course of study. The exam results also determine those students eligible to take placement exams for accelerated course placement.
There is a $20 cash testing fee collected for each student. Pre-registration is required to take the exam.

Late testing may be provided if space remains in the freshman class, however, the opportunity for normal registration cannot be guaranteed.
Academic scholarships are awarded to the top scorers on the Placement Exam. In order to be eligible, students must take the November or December exam.

Registration for the Placement Exam takes place through your TADS account.
Acceptance and Enrollment 
After a thorough review of all the records, students who are accepted into Milwaukee Lutheran will be notified by Mrs. Rachel Janousky to begin the enrollment process.

Accepted students must complete online enrollment through TADS.

Students wishing to participate in the Milwaukee or Wisconsin Parental Choice Programs must apply online during an enrollment period (Milwaukee: February 1-20, 2019, March 1-20, 2019; Wisconsin: February 1-April 20, 2019).  CHOICE APPLICATION
Course Selection
Accepted and enrolled students will schedule an appointment to select their courses by contacting the Milwaukee Lutheran Guidance Office (414) 461-6000 ext. 213. Students in the Milwaukee and Wisconsin Parental Choice Programs will complete course selection  after being awarded a seat.
Students and parents will then meet with a staff member who will help them select courses for freshman year. Course Selection Nights are March 11, 2019, April 8, 2019, and May 6, 2019.
Final Review of Acceptance Once Records are Received
Milwaukee Lutheran reserves the right to rescind acceptance if 8th grade is not successfully completed or if there are indications of inappropriate student behaviors.
