Our students brought an energetic community atmosphere to their 2016 Homecoming festivities this year! If you missed a post, or just want to relive the excitement, here's a summary of the events. Click on links to watch videos!

MLHS Fight Song was performed proudly in many areas, some not as expected as others.

Former Principal, Paul Bahr, returned to lead one of his famous sing-along chapels. You can feel the energy pulsing through the old gym!

Students met for an assembly with ASA: Action Sports Anti-Bullying. Some crazy stunts were performed, one with the help of Principal Adam Kirsch!

The Homecoming theme was Disney: Once Upon a Homecoming. The dress up days started with Class Color Day on Monday. Fresh Prep students wore Thumper Grey, freshman put on Bambi Brown, sophomores wore Nemo Orange, juniors sported Peter Pan Green,  seniors strutted in Maleficent Black, and faculty were distinguished in Mushu Red. Activity night was full of student fellowship and competitions, with inflatable obstacle courses, giant jenga, and class games. Tuesday was Sleeping Beauties Day with pajamas seen everywhere. Wednesday was Simba Safari Day. Choir teacher, Mr. Daniel, definitely won that day! After classes, students danced their socks off at the traditional sock-hop in the cafeteria. Thursday was Disney Day when MLHS looked like a fairy tale land full of Disney characters. And, of course, Friday was Red & White Day to support the Red Knights!

The support was well founded. On Friday, September 23, the Varsity Football Red Knights faced off Grafton and brought home a 30-21 victory! The pep-band performed their half-time marching show, homecoming court members were introduced, the dance was a fun-filled evening, and overall, it was a Homecoming to remember!

The End.

Oh, can't forget the Pep-Rally Polka!
