On September 17th, three Milwaukee Lutheran High School students were invited to attend the annual IBAW (Independent Business Association of Wisconsin) Manufacturing Summit with Free Enterprise Director Shannon Whitworth and Career Academy Director Evan Janousky.  We were able to sit at an exclusive, reserved table, making MLHS one of only two schools in attendance for this special experience.

There were many different businesses represented from small shops to worldwide corporations.  Students were able to have direct access to the wisdom and advice of GM’s and CEO’s of community business, National, and Global corporations.

Students were there to work on their networking skills and make connections with many successful local business owners and CEO’s.  These young men made great, lasting impressions on everyone they spoke with. They did so well, they were invited to lunches or meetings by many of the owners they spoke to in order to continue conversations and even discuss employment opportunities.
