SHARE JESUS . SHAPE LIVES . DEVELOP LEADERS

A letter from Interim Principal, Mr. John Buetow:

Welcome to Milwaukee Lutheran High School and the home of the Red Knights, a school with a 120-year tradition of meeting students' spiritual and academic needs in the Greater Milwaukee community. While blessed with a rich history, we are a school driven and dedicated to successfully educating students in the here and now. Our focus is two-fold:

  • To realize the temporary nature of our time on this earth and proclaim the Good News of Christ to prepare our students for eternity. Students will hear this life-altering message daily during their time at Milwaukee Lutheran.
  • To lift a dream and partner with our students and families to make each dream a reality. High school is not a final destination. It is a training ground where habits are formed and discipline is established in the years that follow. The dream we lift for each of our students is a college education or the launching pad for a successful career in which a sustainable wage can be earned. This dream is not pursued by chance. Milwaukee Lutheran is relentlessly intentional in turning such dreams into realities.

If you agree with this vision for Christian secondary education, please learn more about Milwaukee Lutheran through this website and/or in person!  To learn about enrollment or to get answers to your questions about Milwaukee Lutheran, check out our Get Started Page.

“Milwaukee Lutheran High School sets dreams and partners with its students to see those dreams turn into realities. This occurs within the context of God’s love being proclaimed daily, and this is what makes the Milwaukee Lutheran experience truly life-altering.”
